That is extremely surprising. The service at Sea Grill has been 100% impeccable every time I've been there. Over 10 times. Now, at times I have felt the food itself is perhaps not quite worthy of it's price, but it is always good and dependable. It's my go-to for taking visitors because of the service and dependability. Next time you're in town give me a shout and I'll give you some other options.

In fairness, there was a large party (20+ people) in the dining room who really put a strain on things. But, no checking in on us (by anyone) after mains arrived, had to flag down servers other than our own for missing silverware after food was delivered, had to ask for our check after our finished plates went uncleared for at least 20 minutes, server gave our credit card to manager to process and he gave the credit card and receipt to another table, then another 15 minutes to get my credit card back. I always tip at least 15% pre-tax because I believe it's my obligation when dining out - but I regret doing so on this occasion.

On our second night we went to Cafe Waterfront and ordered similar seafood dishes, and while the food wasn't quite at the same level as Sea Grill, we were satisfied and service was great. In fact, my daughter had their burger and it was one of the best burgers I've seen in recent memory. Highly recommend.

It's a chain, we just got em in Houston. Yes that is a typical Hawaiian plate lunch with rice and mac, so good.

They’ve rapidly been expanding over the last couple years and I certainly appreciate the fact they are open late as I work nights! You can also sub the rice and/or Mac for veggies which are usually decent.

Looks like a combo special except Hawaiian themed. I've heard of them, but not north of the border.

I had to look up rapini. :o

Rapini is a green cruciferous vegetable, with the leaves, buds, and stems all being edible; the buds somewhat resemble broccoli. Rapini is known for its bitter taste, and is particularly associated with Mediterranean cuisine. It is a particularly rich dietary source of vitamin K.
