Yes and lots of it.
I called the restaurant and it was explained. There were 3 of us and when we ordered we asked how many pieces came in the order of spanakopita (it is 2) and I guess we asked if it could be 3 so they charged for the extra piece. It was still pricey to pay $9 for a little square of spanakopita but at least we weren't charged for a doggy bag!

On a different note, now I'm craving that.

Lol...I am sure that you can find a better one for less money. I have eaten there a couple times and the food is always mediocre and over priced IMO but I was outvoted. The best part was (we were sitting out on the patio) there was a dog at the next table celebrating his 13th birthday. .

LOL, I'd pay to be by the dog.

Her friends probably aren't big drinkers and she wanted to get totally wasted so my bet is she went to a bar a block away from the restaurant beforehand. Pounded down three drinks in 15 minutes so she was happily wasted by the time she got to dinner.

Sorry, I didn't take a pic of him. His name is Ben and they have a Golden puppy at home which he isn't too happy about. He is a mutt and looks like he has a lot of black lab but not that big. When they first sat down, they apologized because he came right up to our table but of course he found a table with 3 of the biggest dog lovers ever so he was welcome to be there.

Gus grocery charges $6 for a spanakopita so $9/ea feels fine for a nice restaurant

Yes, once I was told what the charge was for it made sense.
