I'm not trying to dissuade you, they make very good basic burgers made out of fresh ingredients; however, in my opinion, In-N-Out offers nothing that justifies my going out the way for. (Putting on my flame retardant suit) :D |

Sorry, no beetroot. :p But as much as I love In-N-Out, there's some truth to TWA884's statement that it's simply "very good basic burgers out of fresh ingredients"--but that's very much part of the appeal of the product. They may be stuck in the '50s, but that's actually not altogether a bad thing. :) Other than the American cheese, I don't think there's many artificial/processed ingredients in the In-N-Out kitchen.

The lemon actually makes a big difference. |
I'm normally not a fan of pickles, but have been growing into them lately. Pickles aren't big in Australia...
No Beetroot?!?! Hahaha... man you guys don't know what you're missing out on. I think I'll order the Double double, animal style. See how I go. I'll also be visiting as many burger joints in NYC while I'm there. Going to be 10kg heavier on return home... :D |

In n Out is OK, I wouldn't plan a stopover for it though. It seems to have a bit of a cult following in Australia, especially with hipsters. It just tastes like an average pub burger, IMO.
