We have gone a few times now. I think the longest wait (for dine-in ordering) was 45 minutes (that is time from first standing in line to sitting in the car with our food) on a gorgeous Saturday afternoon with Baby Swede's hockey team. Otherwise, on a normal weeknight, it's been 8-15 minutes total, with the drive-thru line still pretty long. The Monday after Snowmageddon, they did close the parking lot for dine-in guests (due to the massive piles of snow). I had to park a block away.

Last week, they had opened up the outdoor picnic tables for eating (and you could wait inside for your to-go order). Last night, they opened the dining room for eating (socially distanced of course).

My go-to order is now two cheeseburgers animal style with chopped chiles. Yummy.

First flight in 15 months. DCA-LAX. Aaaand for lunch, en route to PSP, we stopped in Baldwin Park, where it all began. It wasn't just good to be back. It was Double Double good to be back!

By the end of 2022, Denver should have six locations open.

Now that my Thursday night beer golf league is over, I don't make it over to In-N-Out as often. Rather than eat at the overpriced restaurant at the golf course, I'd have a post-round beer or two with my friends, then I would pick up In-N-Out for the family for a late dinner. I've been maybe once since mid-October.

Love Love love in n out. I learned yesterday that you can customise your burger to have more meat and cheese. Guess what I'll be doing next time I am in san diego.

Here is one of the first written accounts of ordering a 100x100. Godspeed. :D

I don't think my Dr or my arteries would be impressed if I did that. I was thinking about a 3x3 or a 4x4 at most. I do actually like everything else that goes in the burger so too much meat and cheese would drown it out.

Going to SF next week, will be going to In-n-out, will be my 2nd time only. First time I got cheeseburger with grilled onions and animal style fries. Did not try the shakes last time.

This time thinking, Double-Double with grilled onions + Animal Style Fries + Chocolate Shake. Anything else I should try?

Pickles? Chopped chiles?

The shakes are cheap, but nothing special. You could also ask for a Neapolitan shake (all three flavors in the same cup) if that's your thing.

While on a Road Trip to 7 National Parks

Surprised that we stumbled onto this In-n-Out at St. George, UT. Since we were in a hurry, so In-n-Out was just the right lunch for us.

That burger looks a little naked. Where is the sauce?

Onion should be grilled. And there should always be sauce. :p
Speaking of naked, you would never find those sad excuses for fries on my order.

Amen! Those fries look disgusting. As previously mentioned, I’ve had meals from this place 3 times. Twice in LA, once in Vegas. First time it was slightly above average. The following 2 times, the burgers were awful, and the fries limp. Personally, I find the place massively overrated. And don’t start me on the silly secret menu. Here’s an idea, Serve a decent, crisp, cooked fry, without me asking. for it. Yuck!!!

I long ago gave up fry hope. Well done is an improvement but still not worth the calories. Animal style is edible but why bother?
