Alright well the packaging says to cook before eating and it looks like salami. I may bake it tomorrow and slice up like summer sausage.

Thats huge. You can do a whole bunch of stuff. I might slice it, broil it and make a big ol’ sandwich. I’d use some to top a pizza. I feel like it should be the star of the meal. I don’t know about incorporating it into something with too many ingredients. Maybe something simple like mincing it for dirty rice.

I was feeling lazy tonight and didn't want to cook, so I carried in Chinese food - some mapo tofu and dan dan noodles (long noodles with spicy beef sauce.) That was tasty and will last me through tomorrow as well.
Tomorrow my plan is to cook a tomato/spinach cheesy pasta bake, and that should last me through half the week. |

Post-play date subs at Marina Subs, a place I’ve enjoyed since the 80s with random multi-year breaks; big yay for phone order while still at playground:
Medium roast beef; plain medium Italiano, no mayo nor tomato medium atomic sub Large fountain sprite Cash only (still so weird in 2021 in pacific heights) $52 cash ($46.67 and rest to tip jar) - if on plastic, I would have insta tipped 25% I should have taken a pic of the prices but I found an older pic online. I know my atomic was $18.55 which I probably won’t order again - I assumed it was just like a spicy version of a cold cuts sub. We each only ate half our sandwiches so I’ll have leftovers for 2-3 upcoming luncheons! https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...03dfea179.jpeg https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...178f10985.jpeg |
Fresh(live until I cooked it) Dungeness crab with fresh black truffle and truffle butter (yes overkill but I had the truffle.....) over basmati rice. Also some veg eggrolls which I found at costco that were much better than I expected! Total decadence to celebrate the amazing weather we've had for the last 2 days ;)
