Why would you ruin a good sandwich like that with avocado?

At least it’s not yellow mustard.

I always thought KFC mashed tasted like paste. Boston Market always had pretty good mashed.

Hope you recover quickly from your dental visit. My kid is going in for her third visit this month, today.

Oh it tastes nothing like real mashed potatoes but it is one of those guilty pleasures when going with soft foods. I agree--Boston Mkt is good potatoes...I haven't seen a Boston mkt in a while..none nearby.
Thank you --I am still in agony from the dentist.

We got kfc for a super bowl party because the host was pregnant. I definitely enjoyed kfc as a child and can see why one would enjoy it as an adult.

i love avocados and they’re on sale at Safeway starting tomorrow :-) i also like that they’re anti-cholesterol.

I miss the corn on the cob and chicken pot pies from KFC. They don’t have those items in Indonesia. They do have spicy chicken, which is very good, and creamy chicken soup. I’d trade the soup for the pot pie in a flash!

Avocados are nice. I love them for guacamole, on toasted whole grain bread, in a Poke bowl, or thinly sliced onto some sandwiches. I prefer the varieties sold in the US, Haas, maybe? Some places only have the huge versions, like the Aguacate in Costa Rica that seem pretty flavorless.

In sf, it’s california-grown haas avocados. $1/each. It’ll be interesting to see if they’re sold out - rainier cherries sometimes were sold out during the $2.48/lb promo.

:D True, although I think I could tolerate that more than avocado on a sandwich like that.

Feeling any better today?

Occasionally, when I want to eat my day's calories in one meal, I'll get a KFC mashed potato bowl. It is mashed potatoes, gravy, corn, popcorn chicken, and cheese.

Thanks for asking...not feeling any better. Ugh.
That KFC bowl sounds like perfect comfort food.

It is, although it is definitely not good if you are watching calories and fat.

You'll go back to the store tomorrow? I'm still trying to minimize trips and limit them to 1/week and/or use online ordering.

To properly social distance, I think they should be sent to those of us in this thread.
