CY Bistro Breakfast Sandwich and a halfway decent prime rib sandwich from Longhorn Steakhouse. Not terrible for being in Monroe, Louisana.

Several years ago I first had Nordstrom Cafe's lemon ricotta cookie. Just heavenly. They're big and cakelike but with crispy edges and a buttery lemon frosting. I found a recipe and finally have them (almost) as good as Nordstrom. Very labor intensive (two day process with dough resting and freezing), but so worth it.

Today I drank an 11 ounce container of Orgain Clean Protein shake, Creamy Chocolate Fudge favor. For the longest time I've noticed this product in baskets of Costco shoppers but never bought any until a couple of days ago. Costco featured a mark down price, so I succumbed to the peer pressure, you might say, and bought some. It doesn't taste awful, have to say. Anyone else ever tried it?

Tomorrow I will be eating:
I stopped by the Polish Deli for the first time and bought extra garlic kielbasa. Also a dozen pierogi and a nut roll. I already tried a slice of that and mmmmmmmm, good.
