Yesterday, I had a strong wish for gumbo. So, I went to the market, bought some andouille sausage, chicken thighs, onions, celery, parsley and green onion...made a nice roux...and had a big bowl for dinner over rice....and another bowl this morning for breakfast!!!
Life is good!!!

I just love roasted meat, so I went and looked for some again. This time at Xin Dau Ji (Tsim Sha Tsui in HK).

Roasted duck and suckling pig with San Miguel beer ^

Damn, that looks so good, you're killing me...

As I remember it, the roasted pig and duck in HKG always tasted better than the stuff we get here in the San Gabriel Valley.

Ducks and piglets are raise, fed and processed differently.

Traveling: So far a cold breakfast on UA RDU-IAH of cereal, fruit and muffin and some yogurt at the IAH UC.

Should have some good meals as soon as I get to San Antonio though.
