-Cricket flour pb&j "protein bar"

but on the plus side
-Seven cups of Ito En green tea
I was in Manhattan yesterday. I had lunch at Marseilles on 9th Avenue and 45th Street (egg scramble with cream cheese and crab and a creme brulee) and then dinner at the Yale Club (caesar salad and rack of lamb).

Po Burger from Columbia Ave Tap Room in Covington, La Friday night.

Apparently I don't understand how to do this.

Pretending it's still summer. Pasta tossed with parmesan, lemon juice, red pepper, and olive oil. Shrimp and white fish on top.

Peppered venison, with a shitake mushroom sauce and sweet potato boulangere last night. Finished off with creme brulee. How I love my wife's cooking!

Mr. silverthief2 knocked dinner out of the park tonight. Steak, asparagus, potatoes au gratin, and French onion soup

This will give you an idea... Extract from the mod's comments in the final post of a thread in the BA forum:

"Some datapoints in case anyone is interested. Following a full review of this thread, from post 300 onward we found nine cases of baiting (in violation of rules 12.2 and 12.3); three blatant personal attacks (in violation of rule 12.2, warranting deletion); and two threats of libel (which we’ll overlook as they appeared to have been made in jest). Not an impressive set of stats no matter how we care to look at it.

All said, it is dark day when members who share a common passion reduce themselves to belittling and attacking others purely because they happen not to share a point of view."

Out on a fishing charter yesterday. One guy pulled out what appeared to be a bunch of Slim Jims. Except they were thicker. Asked me if I wanted one. I tried it...and it was pretty good. Very peppery. I asked him what it was. Turns out, it was antelope jerky.
Where one finds antelope in New Jersey is a mystery, and the fish started to bite, so I never got an answer.
Fresh caught Black Sea bass for dinner last night. Grilled, with rosemary, olive oil and butter. Nice!
