I kept my expectations low and thought they were ok. I think I got the twin pack for less than $10 so couldn't complain too much. I sauteed them in some olive oil/butter, fresh hebs, and some grated Parmesan.

Lunch today was a tuna/salmon ceviche with green asparagus slices, red chilis and lots of fresh koriander leaves. We indulged in a dry Sauvignon Blanc for a small celebration.

Dinner last night was my version of chicken rice with lots of scallions using leftover thigh/breast meat from Tuesday's dinner.

Slightly off topic, but I was chatting with an Italian friend who lives in London yesterday. He was making tiramisu (which is just amazing and is his mother's recipe - she lives in Milan) and texted a pic of the ingredients. In the picture was "Puff pastry finger biscuits" ("We couldn't get any ladyfingers") and light mascarpone.

I said, "Don't tell Mama G---- what you're doing. He said, "I already have and she strongly disapproves. No more tiramisu until I can get to Waitrose and get the right ingredients."

Me and the SO were out getting antibody tests and swung by our favorite pizza place on the way home.

1 slice of plain, 1 slice of pepperoni, and 1 slice of supreme (pepperoni, sausage, and pickled peppers).

We had leftover taco meat from Cinco de Mayo yesterday so I made a good scramble with it and some eggs and cheese. Plus toast on the side. Love eggs and toast.

Went to a Russian supermarket today, so the lady and I picnicked on some CIS food and drink:

- rye with tomatoes, onions, cucumbers, black radish
- kashkaval and tvorog
- smoked salmon, shrimp spread, and smoked sausages
-baked kefir, and cornelian cherry juice

I am 7-day fasting on lime water. On Day 4 now, I haven't eaten since pre-dawn Monday, but I did just cheat by savoring a manuka honey drop.
