Mrs Clint Bint produced salad for dinner again tonight.
It's October for goodness sake. I need stodge to store up some fat for hibernation.

Tonight I cooked.
Steak,chips and peas.
Have it !

I knew it wouldn't last.
I'm told it's salad again tonight ...

I was taken out for chain barbeque at lunchtime and I've been burping it up ever since.

I need a couple glasses of red wine to settle things and it's still 2 hours to quitting time.

Something with pasta and chicken.
I dunno.I was too drunk to notice.
But I told Mrs Clint Bint it was " restaurant quality."
It probably wasn't but when you're struggling to balance food on the fork it's a fantastic way to cover your backside.

I told Mrs Clint this morning that as cold dark nights are nearly here a good hot stew and the family huddled round a roaring Samsung Galaxy Note 7 are the order of the day.

I bought some store made (Publix) chicken sausages with kale and sauted them last night. They were awful. The kale added nothing except to get stuck between my teeth and I didn't taste the least bit of seasoning in the sausage. I've reached an age where bland food is unacceptable. I want to taste my calories. Later in life, when my taste buds have totally deserted me, I will accept anything on my plate. I'm going out for fresh seafood tonight.

Singapore is famous for relatively inexpensive hawker fare, and we enjoy our hawker center outings very much (often more than our restaurant outings!)

Two recent meals from the same Thai cuisine hawker store at the Pasir Panjang Food Center (which is next to the Pasir Panjang MRT station on the Circle line).

4 dishes plus rice for $21 SGD.

3 dishes (including a steamed fish) plus rice for $33. Steamed fish tend to cost significantly more than the other dishes.
