Homemade sliced BBQ brisket sandwich on a fresh torta roll with BBQ sauce, onions, and dill pickle slices. Amazingly good.

My #lastmealof2017. Ate at home with the family. Soya Chicken Rice, bought from a hawker center.
Here was the main course.

Have a great 2018 ahead!

At a coffeeshop in busy Singapore. This place called Ramen Xiao Long Bao. A basket of dumplings for $4.50 (6 dumplings) and the taste was good. Somebody said that the chef used to work at a restaurant called Crystal Jade.

Yesterday, I had 2 sausage mcmuffins with egg - $3 plus tax.
I completed the online survey as found on the receipt, and today I had 2 deluxe quarter pounders with cheese for lunch, one of which was free due to the survey, and a large coke zero - $7.
I'm not a fast food person but I was fairly impressed with the quality and taste of the food - and $10 for 2 very filling meals is a good value.
My last receipt also has a survey on it, which I just completed, but perhaps I wait a few weeks to redeem...

A Taste of St Regis, at the ballroom of the St Regis hotel in Singapore. This was a formal wedding dinner and the food was pretty good. Incidentally, Kim of North Korea will be staying at this hotel during the Trump Kim Summit.
More local flavour, Tau Suan, Yellow Mung Bean dessert. This was at an eatery in a local mall.

I went to 2 farmers markets this morning. So lunch was tomato sandwiches. White bread, mayonnaise, sliced tomatoes, "cheese".

Tonight will be homemade lamb kofte, tzatziki, hummus and a greek salad.
I have some cheap and decent Dolcetto d'Alba to pair with it, but I may still stop by the local wine shop to see what they have from Turkey or Greece...

Tender roast beef with the saltiest gravy in the world, boiled carrots and potatoes. I passed on the sweet tea and tapioca pudding. Lunch with Grandma BamaVol at the nursing home.
