Hadnt seen St Bernardus Abt 12 in 11.2oz 4 packs before; just picked one up at Total Beverage. $16.99

Also some Bell's Porter and a few one offs. The Orval's and Leffe's still occupy the most space in the fridge, but they'll scooch over for these additions.

I have some Molson Canadian and Coors light right now but I'm running low. Going to stop up on Red Hook when I go back to the store.

I've just moved in with my girlfriend, this is what she has stocked:

One six pack of Heinekin Light
Two bottles of Corona
One can of Tecate
Two cans of Red Stripe

Obviously changes must be made!

How is it? We've apparently moved out of the Abita market as I never see it anymore. I will have to wait a couple weeks until I visit the kids in Ala. Abita Light is on my short list of light beers and while others here disagree, I find Purple Haze refreshing and interesting.

A bottle of Westvleteren 12. I bought the last two bottles from The Trappist bar in Oakland last night. Split the first bottle there with a friend, saving the second for a reeeeally special occasion.

Also some Wells Banana Bread Beer and Rogue Dead Guy Ale.

Excellent! What was the price for the Westvleteren?

$28/bottle. I figured it was cheaper than a trip to Belgium.

They must know you there. I know a bar in Virginia that sells that particular beer for $25 per bottle but only if you're a regular or a regular will vouch for you.

After all, the beer is not supposed to be available in the United States so every bottle of Westvleteren beer in the U.S. is an illegally smuggled bootleg.
