How was it? I have a 6-pack of Fat Tire in the fridge at the moment.
Best regards, William R. Sanders Online Guest Feedback Coordinator Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide [email protected] The following evening I made it over to the Fort Collins brewery tap room, they are far smaller than New Belgium and not widely distributed, but I had several beers that I liked better than the NB offerings, such as their chocolate stout, eisbock, and wheatwine. I was planning to visit Odell, they were packed, but FCB was a great fallback plan. I find it amazing that a town the size of Ft. Collins has 3 great craft breweries, plus a great brewpubs, and my home state of Florida can't match those stats. Not that it makes too much difference, but the NB tap room offers free tasters, while the other two charge. I would encourage any beer lovers who find themselves in that area of the country to avail themselves of the brewery taprooms and brewpubs. |

I'm just back from a month in Florida; I drove, didn't fly, and traveled some backroads on this trip to revisit some spots from my South Carolina childhood.
On the journey, I tried some of the beers from North Charleston, S.C.'s Coast Brewing Co. and brought back a few bottles of their HopArt IPA and 32/50 Kolsch for my beer fridge. Impressive stuff, but very limited distribution so if you see any you may want to give it a try. |
Working through the last of the Goose Island Mild Winter.

1 can Miller Light

Local brewery growler full of Moonlight "Tama River Bitter"

Abita Purple Haze
Abita Strawberry (clearly, I am in southern Louisiana in springtime) |
I'm not much of a beer drinker, I would rather be downing some bourbon. Beer has got its merits if you just mowed the lawn, or you are enjoying lunch on the patio.
So with apologies to my fellow Portlanders, the beer in my fridge is... Coors Light |
