I'll have to tell my wife that.

:D Do I need to revise it to say, "Just because a beer is on sale does not mean you need to purchase it?" :D

My grandmother was one who would buy things she definitely didn't need, simply because they were on sale!

I came back home from Ohio this weekend, with a cold, and a sixer of Great Lakes Brewing Edmund Fitzgerald.

I prefer the Great Lakes Edmund Fitzgerald.

I lived in Cleveland for two months and the Great Lakes Brewing Company is definately one of my favorite place to go for a beer or a bite. The Elliot Ness amber is my favorite regular, but those seasonals are amazing, especially the oktoberfest and christmas ale.

Last september I had a Belgian triple they only sell at the brewery on tap as a special treat, it was the best triple I ever had!

interesting - the one i had last night was great. were you getting them fresh?

I live in North County San Diego, so that's about as fresh as you can get it.

It's still a great beer, but my taste buds no longer care for it.

I'd opt for just the beer. :D If you enjoy a black and tan, try half and half Edmund Fitzgerald and Victory Hop Devil. :D

I'm definitely going to have to add this one to my list of beers to try, I love the story of the Fitz.

While I normally prefer a lighter pale ale this Porter is quickly becoming a favorite as it's heartier and much more complex than the lighter coloured cousins this brewery brews. Maybe it's just a better winter beer.

Won't be in my beer fridge, but will be enjoying some Pliny the Younger here in San Diego this Friday. ^
