Does anyone know of some US beers that use Amarillo hops?

Just ate lunch at the new(ish) location for Hopmonk Tavern in Novato CA over the weekend.

The three Hopmonk beers were unmemorable, to put it nicely.

However, tried three on tap that we really enjoyed:

- NORTH COAST OLD 38 STOUT
- BALLAST POINT SCULPIN IPA - surprised that I had not tried this before, and realized how good it is
- NINKASI BREWING CO. TRICERAHOPS

None of these are yet in my fridge, but they will be soon!

Oh Happy Day!

I just moved back to CAE and made a trip to Green's Beverages.

Discovered that they have a GREAT selection of Belgium Ales!

(Sorry, Just had to share. :))

So dangerous to have Sculpin in cans. :D

Next weekend I'm having a big mead and cider tasting with friends. My last three trips have been Montreal, Spain, and Berlin/Prague. I have saved up Canadian cider and ice cider, Spanish cider, and grabbed a few Slovakian meads, for this tasting. I can't wait.

Lefthand milk stout. Just a 'regular' but picked up a case of Nitro last night for when this is gone.

I surmise you attended Dark Lord Day. How was it?

I am back from BRU with a bunch of Westvleteren and some of the special Horal gueuze (2009, 2011, 2013) released only every 2 years for the Tour:

Also some weirdo Danish beers from my CPH friend.
