A friend gave me a bottle of Founder's Breakfast Stout (look at these ratings, by the way; wow, property values have gone up in my garage fridge).
My friend is eager to know what I think of it, but I haven't quite figured out yet what's the right time of the day or week to drink a beer with an alcohol content well above 8%. Not a workday lunch, I'm pretty sure. |

The beers I often drink with a dinner are 9-11%. I think of it like a glass of wine. :)
I have been limiting myself to a single beer with dinner lately and find that 8% is about the right alcohol content to still know I'm drinking beer. Anything less, with the food in my gut, I might as well be drinking O'Doul's. |
