I would suggest that all beer should come in pint size bottles as I am comfortable with exactly that amount before I'm ready for the next. As soon as I finish working this afternoon, I'm headed to the packy for a couple sixes of something interesting. I'll update the thread afterwards. |
Gull, an Icelandic beer that's actually pretty good IMHO.

Lately, my fridge has been stocked with the Magic Hat Dream Machine IPL. I've been enjoying it quite a bit. ;) -S |

Never in my fridge, but yesterday shared a three-year old bottle of Westvleteren 12 with my home brew class. Still fabulous.

Just as I spotted a new bottle shop opening a couple miles from the house, my favorite liquor store is closing. Saturday, I grabbed a couple 6 packs of craft beer to go with bargain scotch and bourbon. I will make one last run this week for anything else I might want. Beer is currently 20% off. I also have been told that a variety beer box is on the way from Alabama so will wait to update my fridge until it's all in hand.

Elevation Beer Co. Double Black Diamond Series: False Summit Not in the fridge, but Saturday night I had a pint of Lazy Magnolia Jefferson Stout, listed as a sweet potato cream stout and again, I'm not usually a stout fan, but this was excellent. They say chocolate, but all I tasted was coffee, coffee, coffee. Also had a small flight of Asheville Scottish Ale, Pensacola Sawgrass Wheat, Pensacola Riptide Amber Ale (now that was chcolate!) and a 4th, a red ale, I can't specifically recall. My local beer palace is also offering 6 pumpkin flavored ales as Fall approaches. I might try one in a flight, but I'm not likely to down a whole pint. |

Harvester Brewing's IPA #3.
Harvester has just changed their name to Ground Breaker due to trademark issues, but the beer is still flowing! All their beers, and the food at their gastropub in Portland, Oregon, is gluten free. Most gluten free beer I find to be almost undrinkable - but these guys make a beer that is actually very good. https://www.facebook.com/groundbreak...ng?ref=profile |
6 pack of Headwater Pale Ale from Victory
4 pack of Rum Cask Ale from Innis & Gunn I went back to the liquor store with the closeout sale and stock had been seriously depleted in a week's time. I went intending to load up on microbrews and bought 4 more bottles of liquor instead: 12 year Glenfarclas scotch, 12 year Angostura 1824 rum, 50 Pounds gin & Michter's Kentucky rye. |
