GA at DCA (DCA-SLC) just announced as FC, DM/PM, C+ and Back to Front. It's a full flight and I wasn't listening for GM/FO.
Edit: YBYL averted on this flight. Two folks upgraded to F from C+ after doors closed and no-shows didn't show.

So we’re still doing this, huh? PM flying for the first time in Y since Covid and just noticed they’re still not boarding Sky Priority ahead of Main Cabin boarding from back to front. This is such an own-goal by Delta. Way to devalue status with something that has zero bearing on revenue.

There's no need for a required online (re)training course or return to HQ to be retrained in person for something like this.
In fact, don't most GAs just read from a script when they make the boarding announcements?

Boarding
Nice surprise boarding JFK/MIA Friday. They loaded Comfort + right after FC like the old days. Even made announcement that they would like to welcome our Comfort + customers.. Then they went back to loading back to front for coach.
Sorry if this has been discussed before but I was unaware of it

Boarding is so inconsistent these days. You never know how the GA is going to decide to board if they include C+, Sky, FOs/AmEx or go straight to back-to-front. It’s really getting old and DL needs to go back to the old boarding process. The old zones still print out on everyone’s boarding passes so there’s no excuse why they haven’t yet. I’m surprised they haven’t gotten in trouble by AMEX for not honoring the stated priority boarding benefit thats written in the T&Cs on the DL cobranded credit cards.

Nice surprise for LYS-CDG boarding 26 JUL. Flying Euro-J and there was a separate, monitored line for J and SkyPriority flyers that allowed boarding before all other Y passengers.

Apparently there are reports that a new policy went into effect today and agents are supposed to be returning to the pre-COVID normal zoned boarding.

It’s good it is back, but personally I think it’s ridiculous it took so long and this is just one of many things that has made me lose faith in DL’s previously (relatively) stellar customer service and product

FWIW, the policy officially took effect Tuesday 9/14 so weekend flights were still operating under the COVID policy.
