Delta 777-200ER/LR Conversions to 7HD & 7HB. Pre-mods config is 37J/36W/218Y. For all the ERs and the first LR, post-mods config was initially 28J/48W/220Y (7HD/7HB). The post-mods config for all ERs and LRs is now 28J/48W/90Y+/122Y (7CD/7CB).

Modifications are taking place at SIN and the entry and exit dates are based on SIN time (GMT + 8 hrs). Comfort + installation was done at ATL on all the 7HD>7CD conversions, and on 7106 (7HB>7CB). The remaining 9 LRs had the C + cabins installed at SIN.

Has anyone yet been able to observe the legroom situation in rows 30/31 in C+ on the refurbished airplanes yet?

B777 MSP-CDG is it the new suites?

Hello,

I see that Delta 42 is a B777 (at least today and the dates in July I'm shopping). Is that going to be a refreshed aircraft, or are those still only going to Asia & AMS?

Thanks!

If they are selling Premium Select seats that is the best way to know. Looks like they are for MSP-CDG on some dates I checked in July.

I’m flying on one ATL-CDG on 5-15-19.
Bought PS and have a GUC applied for the suites. Not holding my breath for it to clear.

All of the 777-200ERs have been refurbed. Not all of the 777-200LRs have.

This will shortly be moved to the 777 suites/refurb thread where the Wiki displays refurb status.

Booked on DL2714 and DL1218 on LAX-ATL-LAX for September on these updated birds. Was pleasantly surprised to see my upgrade into C+ put me into PS. C+ is listed as standard Economy on the seat map.

It may be a PS seat but the soft product is still domestic C+.
Still way better than flying 5 hours in C+ on a 739.

The 777 suites have 1 air vent per seat in the middle section (B&C) and overhead bins. The middle suites on the A350 lack both air vents and overhead bins.
The window seats on the 777 have two air vents each.

100%

They are loaded in for the end of 2019 on that route already.

Not gonna help me this coming Tuesday. I'll be suffering for 15+ hrs with the old herringbone D1 seats. However, returning from Cairo next March on DL83 I'll have a D1 suite for the CDG to ATL leg.

That's awful. Maybe the folks in economy can gather some snacks for you to help you get thru it.

Considering this is the most expensive J segment in the entire DL system, one would think it would get the refurbished frames first, but competition on the route matters more than fare price when it comes to service and hard product offered.

I've actually found that with the right searching you can get the JNB route below what you'd see for a RT to a city like Tokyo. Usually see it below SYD as well. I lucked out with some flexible dates for a vacation and booked JNB a few months back before they converted the layout to the Suites, and checking after the price shot up significantly. Probably the cheapest I'd ever find the route again.

Definitely not the most expensive segment. But it will switch over this year, it's already been announced.
