Decent lobster bisque in ATL A centerpoint. I hadn't seen it before but thread search turns up references to it in the past.

This saddens me. I need to do a gin MR to bank enough miles to upgrade to a more drinkable gin.

The middle DTW SC had macaroni and cheese, meatballs and an ice cream sundae bar a couple days back in addition to the soups and other small snacks.

By the end of my five hour layover I had to be rolled to the plane.

DTW had added a couple items to their salad bar yesterday when I was there. Something I like is they now have disposable salad bowls.

It's been mentioned before, but I really like the clam chowder at the SEA Sky Club. Needs a good amount of salt and pepper, but that's easily delt with.

Sorry, looks like Bombay is indeed out. Damrak was the only option at ATL last night and the paper menus have been updated too. It's obviously personal preference, but I though the Damrak was way too sweet...missing the Bombay.

I was at DTW center club a couple of days ago when they were setting out lunch, and it was a good spread. AS you said, there was mac and cheese along with meatballs (sweet/sour sauce and bbq sauce available to accompany) as part of an overall impressive spread for a Sky Club. Rather well done.

Didn't notice an ice cream sundae bar, but a couple of months back when at DTW center club, the staff were walking around handing out ice cream bars.

It's a vodka lover's gin; it has no bite and the botanicals are quite muted.

I'd say the same thing about the botanicals in Bombay.

Tanqueray has been my go-to gin since colleges days (when we could afford it back then).

I wish Tanqueray were still the SC well gin. There is something harsh tasting to me about Bombay Sapphire. I actually like regular Bombay much better.

Bombay Sapphire is pretty good imo. Most people drink gin with tonic water. I can't stand tonic water, it has a very unpleasant bitter taste to me. I mix tin with club soda and lime. Hendricks is good mixed with pineapple juice.

I didn't know that tin would dissolve in club soda.

I drink gin and tonics for the quinine... just in case I ever get bitten by a mosquito.
