I'll take SEA-IAH, if we're making a list

Another HNL flight is interesting, but not too surprising, especially as they switch flying from 763s to 753s as they start to retire the domestic 767s.
SEA-HNL has always been operated by 753's.

Hate to use math this late in the day, but 1% of 15,000 is 150. So even if it were say: 0.1%, they could still figure out how to add 8 flights quite easily.

you got me on this one, but I think the u g changes are better than say a ATL-SEA on this same plane. I may be willing to take the chance

DL started SEA-JAC just before Christmas last year and it runs through March. So I guess restarting seasonal winter service next year counts as "new service."

HNL is a re-add though, right? Didn't NWA have 2x daily? Event after the merger for a bit?

I think the 15,000 flight number includes all SkyTeam flights ...

Yes, they did. It was right before merger with Delta. The flight is always full.

all regional jets, I think US and WN are both main crafts. if the fares are close, I still wont choose DL. Here are the reasons:

1. WN can check bags for free.
2. US and AA will merger, bigger market.
3. AS miles are worth more than DL, if you fly AS, you kinda save miles on DL or AA.
4. DL skymiles really sucks.

welcome add other thoughts....

Currently in SEA DL's primary gates are on S with overflow gates being at A & B. Once US moves over to D with AA expect DL to take A1 - A4 which more then likely will be used for the EMB/CRJ flights. After the A expansion project is complete DL's primary gates will be on A with B & S being used as overflow. Also UA has exclusive rights to A5 - A14 on concourse A, however that probably will change once the A expansion is complete.

Why are we linking to some random blog that doesn't even then-back-link to the official posting?

Oh, didn't know that. Actually, I am happy they started this flight as it's clearly a new nonstop service for Seattle (vs fighting with AS on same routes).

I'm not sure why DL would want to move the majority of their flights to A. DL has a nice Sky Club at S and that would be highly inconvenient if you wanted to visit the club before or after your flight.
