Figured a highly collaborative effort like this needs a wikipost. As items and codes are confirmed, let's centralize them in one place rather than thumb through hundreds of discussion posts.

True, but more importantly an FTer believes that everyone else should be at the very bottom rung, or if not the bottom, then a rung or two above.

Well, first, that would be illegal under the Fair Credit Reporting Act for them to access your credit report without express permission. It's highly unlikely that DL is going to make an illegal pull on your credit report and then publish it on an easy to query web service page. They might as well start writing out the checks for the class action now.

Could v30 be number of complaints? I'm at 6 which is about the number of emails I've sent Delta over the years, my mom is at 2, and my father who never complains via email is at 0. That makes more sense than customer value score because I know my father flys on Y fares, my mom will fly delta over anyone, and I used to be similar to my mom in my Delta flying habits.

Delta and new DL.com Profiles A Lot About You
A few thoughts after catching up on the last 15 pages:
My data seems to be pretty accurate, but experian has me as a "multi generational" family. It mostly fits our buying habits but as an early 30s with 2 young kids, we are not multi generational. However, this may explain why my 2 year old gets credit card offers, and I get letters from AARP : /
As to how they use this data, I'm sure there are some mktg gurus around here that know more about this, but it seems to me that this would be solely for DL.com advertising and promo offers. I do quite a bit of work in BI and firms of deltas size that have truly 360 degree views of a customer are few and far between. I would bet that the customer contact databases and marketing databases aren't well integrated, and therefore it would be unlikely (at this point anyway) that your #of complaints is integrated into marketing efforts (and vice-versa: does the medallion line care what your experian category is? I doubt it)
For advertising, though, the more info DL has about who is logged in, the higher rates they can charge hertz, or dollar, or whoever else wants to advertise on their site. Better targeting = more $$$
One last thought - what an ingenious way to distract the ft community. "Leak" some new codes and get everyone trying to figure out what each means whilst we all barely notice the burning sensation from the scoresby.

My income data is over 70% higher than the highest I've ever reported on a credit card application (which is also my current annual income). I have no idea where they're getting their data from, but it seems like it's not necessarily a reliable source.
