184 N184DN…will retire by end of 2024 as a 76Zv1. ViaSat IFC.
*Note: This version has 13-14CDE as preferred seats, not C+. This configuration does not have doors near the engines (like the 764 does) and does have 2 over-wing exits (like the 76L/76T). There are lavatories near the over-wing exits (20-21CDE do not exist).

1521 N394DL…reactivated Aug 3 2021. Not expected to receive ViaSat IFC. will retire by end of 2024 as a 76Zv2.
*Note: This version has doors near the engines (like the 764) and only has one over-wing exit. There are lavatories near the 2nd set of doors (13-14CDE do not exist). Unlike all other 767 versions Delta has, there isn't a lavatory set near the over-wing exits (because they are near the 2nd set of doors).

*Note: This configuration is used inclusive on SEA-PVG, ATL-LOS. It also frequently works SEA-ATL to provide rotation. These aircraft do cover flights to Europe All 36J seats will be sold because it has a crew rest module installed. Also, the Y seats are the older ones like the 777 with the older IFE system (only 767-300ER type with that, all others are the newer seats/system).
**All retired 6/30/2020 due to COVID-related fleet simplifications

What DL is believed to do is put all flights with 26J as the 76Z Version 2 configuration and then change it to 76Z Version 1 closer to departure as needed. If you select 20-21CDE when it is 76Z Version 2 and it changes to 76Z Version 1, it should seat you in 13-14CDE considering that 20-21CDE doesn't exist on the configuration it changed to. All other seats are numbered the same regardless of Version 1 or 2, although there may be minor differences such as row 20 being an exit row on Version 1.

Sept 25 2020 Announcement: Delta to retire 717, 767-300ER and CRJ-200

Not gonna lie, i LOVED it. This was the best domestic flight ever. An extra thirty minutes of headwind - no problem, take your time. I slept like a baby on them lie-flats.

The seat feels the same as the 764. Major difference is the table that folds out without extreme trickery. Seats ^a and 6D only have one window - the rest have the 2 or more... The Y cabin looks quite nice too, for the times that I am riding in the back

very jealous! But happy for you. I love the seats to.. no complaints at all. Unfortunately, the delta gods aren't smiling down on me like they did you. I'm gonna be stuck with the old style cradle seats on flight 28 tomorrow

My flight JFK -> ATH on December 26th is now showing 1-2-1 configuration. As is my return flight IST -> JFK on January 8th. I'm a very happy boy

I will miss the drama of following this particular thread, though

That is something I really don't understand. I assumed that CDG would be considered a "premium" market (after London) and would see the new interiors early. wrong!

The refit 763s have done some rotations through CDG and AMS, but I would expect DL will put the refit ones on routes that have one flight per day first. Frequencies to CDG and AMS are such that it's easier to avoid confusion over which flight(s) have the new seats.

I am doing JFK-ATH (8/24) then ATH-JFK (9/3) on the 763s. So is it safe to move from my old seat to the one I prefer in the new configuration or do I have to monitor this thread every day to see if JFK-ATH keeps the new ones?

And that's why I'm dropping my status from Plat to Gold after this year...and dropping my $$$ on DL. CO/UA and AA got the lion's share in 2011 and at 2 flights to HNL per month, it was a lot of shekels.

I dont mean to offend anyone here but why on earth would DL put a 767 with lieflats on Hawaii routes? I can buy a FC ticket for under $2000 to Hawaii while I can't get anything under $4000 to the places DL flies the 767-300ERs and in most cases a paid BE ticket is $5-10k. Hawaii is a market that is highly leisure and people love to dump miles on Hawaii trips. DL could likely fly an all coach 28 inch pitch 757 down there and do just as well from the west coast of the US. I agree there are a couple premium passengers on the Hawaii flights but the definition of premium to Hawaii is $1700-2500 which likely isn't worth tying up a BE flatbed plane for. It would be nice to have one but I don't see it happening....the high density domestic 767 with 261 (30F/231Y) seats is a better fit than a 767 with 209 seats and 35J/174Y

Summer 2012 is many, many, many schedule and equipment changes away....I would not count on JFK-ATH being on a 763ER for the summer anyway. It has consistently been flown with the A333 for the past few summers; even though the Greek crisis will dampen travel for next year, DL is eliminating capacity to ATH from ATL next summer, so I would still expect JFK-ATH to be on the A330-300 for next summer.

New config DL 104 GRU-ATL on 11/22

Lucky me - I grilled the agent why I had lost a seat in row 4 to be sent to row 6 (didn't want to wind up with a curtain as a neighbor). Seems agents are outsourced in Sao Paulo, so it took a while to figure out I'd scored one of the new seats ^

I know this is the wrong thread, but.... Do we have any idea on when the 747s are getting upgraded to lieflats in J and AVOD in Y? The press release from 2010 says between summers of 2011-2012, but Delta's fleet update page says they haven't been touched.

I know that the first 747 is currently in mods. However, there seems to be conflicting info about the AVOD in Y; one rumor states that the FAA has yet to approve the new Panasonic Eco 9i Integrated Smart Monitors and thus it will initially enter service without AVOD in Y, while another says they have already been approved and will enter service with AVOD in Y.
