flight status for (far in the) future reservations
 

For a while now, all of my future flights that are listed in my reservations always show "flight status: on time" perpetually, even though the flights are months away. Also (and maybe it's just me), DL seems to be waiting until the last minute to release gate information through the app. On my last two trips, no gate was listed in my active itinerary until boarding had already begun.

Every time I open the view receipt link within a future PNR, the app crashes and sends me back to the home screen.

We'll look into what is going on with this, thank you for bringing this to our attention.

We've identified the culprit for this and the fix for this will be part of an upcoming release.

Version 2.1 ... What happened to upgrade / seat lists?

It's still there (iirc you might have to expand one of the views to see upgrade list). I noticed that starting with a recent upgrade that if there is a flight delay warning displaying then the upgrade list link won't be shown.

Yeah, this is what happened. Bizarre update notification and basically everything except my boarding pass and the link to change flights became inaccessible.

Current version does not seem particularly intuitive.

Fly Delta 2.2, 22 augustus 2013 now do show codes on the SkyMiles (and Delta Sky Club membership) cards. Are those codes usefull for something?

If you're referring to the barcodes, the one on the SM card just decodes to your SM number. I suppose you could scan it in kiosks just like the physical card.

Dear Danny and Fly Delta App team,
I am contacting with you due to I need to know if the last fly delta app available on google play site (version 2.2), is really compatible with android 2.3.5 on motorola MB632 or not?.
I downloaded this app to my phone because in the google play site it is stated that this version it is compatible with my phone, but when I want to run it, it appears a message saying somethig like "the application fly delta (process com.delta.mobile.android) was stopped unexpectedly, try again", and I never could run this app.
Please, I would be very grateful if you can clarify to me if your app is really compatible with my motorola MB632 (android 2.3.5) phone.

Also, I've been getting a similar error on my Nexus 10 running Android 4.3, where the app would error out and force close before it could even fully launch. It's been frustrating me for months.

This wouldn't apply to MACX's case on 2.3.5, but as a hint for others, I discovered that the Android app does not work with the new multiple profiles on 4.2+ (or whenever it started).

If I switch profiles on my Nexus to the main/admin/owner profile, the app works just fine, and of course you can log in/out with the appropriate DL login. But the app will not run at all if you are logged into your device through a secondary profile.

For me the current version doesn't create any bp when doing an olci on the delta app. Of course when you try to view that non excisting bp the app crashes

This wasn't fixed in the latest release.

I have a slightly different Motorola running 2.3.5 and the Delta app works fine.

Hello,

I just got a Nexus 5, and with it is Android 4.4. I checked in via the Delta application, and the process went smoothly. However, when I went to view my boarding pass, I was greeted with a white screen and then a message to contact customer support. I'm not 100% certain this was absolutely due to the new operating system (I checked in on Android 4.3, and viewed the boarding pass just fine last week), but it seems as though there may be a problem.

Just wanted to pass that along in case there is indeed a compatibility issue between the latest Delta app and Android 4.4.

You may want to send this feedback via DL.com as well. It seems that the DL reps only check FT sporadically.
