Is there anyway to "refresh" your boarding passes when a change has occurred?
I just did an online SDC for my flights today. Initially, the FlyDelta app showed no reservations but I entered the PNR number and my name and it found the reservation again with the new flights but, since I'd already checked in for the original flights, I'm stuck with the old boarding passes.
If there's no way to refresh the boarding passes, could we put that on the feature request list?

Did you miss my previous post about discrepancies between the upgrade and standby list on the Android App and Delta.com? #150 in this thread...
Thanks!

As far as the standby, what was your status? By this I'm wondering if you were in the scenario of "confirmed" but with a seat request card. In this scenario your name will not appear on the standby list (I think that it is the same with the GIDs as well).
As far as the application still showing "upgrade requested" after you have been confirmed, that is something we're trying to sort out in the service that feeds the applications.

Two issues:
First, the front-page checkin doesn't work. It still tells me that I will be able to check in at some time in the past. (Selecting that flight and checking in a few screens later does work.)
Second, is there some way to store boarding passes locally on the phone, so I don't have to go through the full login to see them? This can take much longer than I'd prefer when I need to show the boarding pass.
Finally (this one isn't the android app specifically) if I check in online and say to send the boarding pass to my phone, the picture that arrives is too small to be read. (Fortunately, it can be expanded by the phone.)

This was after an earlier canceled flight, so a lengthy standby list. I should also note that I could view a version of the standby list on the app, but my name wasn't on it. My name DID appear on the Delta.com list.
(I'm not talking about the upgrade list, but the list for a seat.)

Traveling with Us is a nice addition.
However, under the Delta Sky Clubs section, New Orleans (MSY) only brings up Transit, Weather and Delta Sky Clubs, It does not bring up a Map Tab and, the Transit Tab shows Newark (EWR), not MSY.

The Android app is sending me flight status/notification messages for flights that I canceled a week ago. The itinerary no longer shows up on Delta.com or in the app, but somehow it is still in Delta's system. Anyway way to have it stop? I tried signing out and back in, but another message just arrived.

Until then, the only way to do it isn't exactly the cleanest. Also, this will delete all notifications that you are currently registered for (they are easy to get set up again).
Step 1 (deleting all notifications).
Go to settings screen from the home screen and can un-check the check box for "Get check-in reminders and Status notifications" and navigate away (using back button, home button or any option from the context menu).
Step 2 (enabling and getting notifications set back up):
Go back to the settings screen and check the "Get check-in reminders and Status notifications". After you navigate away from this screen you will need to go view the details of any flights you would like to get notifications for.

Hey Danny The only way I can check in is to log out and log in again. Also, even though I'm checked in, I'm still geting check in alerts

I've been having a few problems with the latest version of the Fly Delta app on my LG G2x running Android 2.3.3:
I've been flying Shuttle routes a lot lately, so I wonder if any/all of these errors could relate to the unassigned seating?
- Even when inside the 24 hour window, the app says I'm not eligible to check in. When I refresh the itinerary, the "Check In Now" button appears (and works correctly), but the "not yet eligible" text is still present, floating over the button.
- After check-in, I sometimes receive an error message directing me to an airport agent. If I re-open the reservation, however, I can see that my check-in was actually successful.
- I've never once been able to view the upgrade list. I either get an "experiencing technical difficulties" message or the app force-closes itself.

Hi Danny and the Fly Delta Android team. I've been using the Fly Delta app for a few months on my Nexus S phone, and just started having trouble after Google pushed the upgrade to Android 4.0.3 to my phone over the air (actually, they recommended using WiFi because of the update's size) a couple of weeks ago. This is with Fly Delta 1.6.
Problem 1: Fly Delta doesn't allow me to check in for a flight anymore. I am offered all the choices for checking in up until the final screen. I can get as far as the Select Bags screen. On the Select Bags screen, I can successfully select the option "Select or Change Seats". However, the "Check In Now" button doesn't work - when I touch and hold the button, I can see the color of the button changes, but nothing else happens - I'm stuck at this point and cannot proceed to get a boarding pass.
Problem 2: When displaying the seat map, the seat icons are much larger than prior to the Android 4.0.3 update. For example, on my current flight in first class on a 757-300 aircraft, when the seat map is displayed, I can only see down to a part of row 2 vertically, and horizontally, the only seats I can see are A and B - I have to scroll to the right to see C and D. It's as if the screen is zoomed by pressing + several times but the - option is greyed out so that's as small as the seat map gets. On an economy seat map - also for a 757-300, the screen starts with rows 14-16 and is cut off on the right hand side with half of seat E visible.

We are aware of some issues with the latest version of the Android OS (4.0.3 of Ice Cream Sandwich) and we have been working hard on fixing these issues. We plan on having this version out later this month.

Just FYI, I have the same issues with ICS (4.0.2) on a Galaxy Nexus: unable to check in at last step, and seatmap displaying too large. Even logging out and back in doesn't allow the check-in button to work. Thanks for all the updates - I've become near-dependent on the app now!
