Just booked the Queen Anne for the inaugural season. It'll be our third "new" ship in less than three years. The previous ones were the Celebrity Apex and Discovery Princess.

Sailing Celebrity Beyond right before Thanksgiving, contemplating adding a cruise on another ship for the week of Thanksgiving. Went ahead and added a cruise on HAL Nieuw Amsterdam

ysolde I think a friend's parents on your transatlantic with you in November.

Tell your friend's parents to look out for the petite blonde in the wheelchair and her husband (big guy with sandy blond hair)! We are looking forward to this cruise.

The delivery of the Queen Anne has been pushed back by a few months, so our March 2024 cruise has been canceled.

Just booked the November 29, 2024 TA on NCL Viva (which is still under construction, but should be ready sometime in mid-2023). It's a re-positioning cruise that takes us from Lisbon to Morocco to Cape Verde to the Canaries, across the Atlantic to St. Maarten, then St. Thomas, and, finally, Puerto Rico. Right before the holidays. Sounds absolutely magical. We don't know much about the Prima class ships, so anyone who has sailed on them, please share!

there are some nice Vlogs on YouTube from the first regular sailings of the Prima in the past couple of weeks. The cabins, restaurants and new dining hall look great. One highlight of the food hall is an Indian Food Stand with real ovens to properly cook fresh Naan. Yum! The pool deck is really small unless you pay the extra for their Vibe club area or of course if you’re booked in the Haven. I really like their Lido Deck with all the alfresco dining options. I wish more lines would design ships with that concept.

NCL is in a weird spot right now. A bit of an identity crisis. These Prima ships definitely make a run at Celebrity and Princess for the mass market luxury market, but they still have the Go Cart tracks and crazy water slides which are more like Royal and Carnival. Can they compete on both ends? I’m looking forward to trying out the Prima class with an Premium Plus Drink Package in hand (hello Veuve before dinner!)

Just booked the Nov. 11 2023 sailing of Hurtigruten's Trollfjord. 15 days. If we don't see the Northern Lights we get a free cruise the following year. I suspect we will see them

Is this a special promotion, or does Hurtigruten offer this guarantee on all their "Northern Lights" cruises?

And how is this executed? If no sighting until the middle of the last night, would the crew make a ship-wide announcement to wake everyone up?!
