Right before the holidays. Sounds absolutely magical. We don't know much about the Prima class ships, so anyone who has sailed on them, please share!
there are some nice Vlogs on YouTube from the first regular sailings of the Prima in the past couple of weeks. The cabins, restaurants and new dining hall look great. One highlight of the food hall is an Indian Food Stand with real ovens to properly cook fresh Naan. Yum! The pool deck is really small unless you pay the extra for their Vibe club area or of course if you’re booked in the Haven. I really like their Lido Deck with all the alfresco dining options. I wish more lines would design ships with that concept.
NCL is in a weird spot right now. A bit of an identity crisis. These Prima ships definitely make a run at Celebrity and Princess for the mass market luxury market, but they still have the Go Cart tracks and crazy water slides which are more like Royal and Carnival. Can they compete on both ends? I’m looking forward to trying out the Prima class with an Premium Plus Drink Package in hand (hello Veuve before dinner!)
