I have to say, I think NCL is overpriced. We have a (non-Haven) suite booked on Viva in late 2024, and the price is outrageous as compared to Regent, which is all inclusive (including business class airfare), the suite is bigger, and the ship much smaller (hence the experience much more intimate and personal). Of course, some people really want the go-karts and the virtual reality games and the like, so Viva will be for them. I just cannot justify the price. We are pretty much done with NCL.

We'll be doing our first proper Atlantic crossing on the Queen Mary 2 in May 2025, from NYC to Hamburg. That's how we will head to Germany next year.

I have two transatlantic cruises on Queen Mary 2 later this year. I'm doing it for almost the same reason as you. I've never sailed in North Europe and would like to check out that area.

We love the QM2, but I just wish we could avoid New York to take the Transatlantics.

I feel the same way. I have several QM2 cruises departing and arriving in NYC and I wish the port was not in Brooklyn.
