Looks like 1/2 the 2021 cruises listed as of now can be scuttled.

Just removed our June and August cruises because of this, but added two late 2022 cruises out of Sydney. Always hopeful!

Another one bites the dust. That makes nine COVID cancellations for us.

I have been quite impressed about your optimistic view related to the return of cruising!

I'm actually adding that cruise back to the list because it hasn't actually been cancelled. Celebrity is shuffling itineraries, so I'm being cautiously optimistic.

So have you just been rolling over your money into new reservations, or have you been getting refunds and then purchasing new trips.

I have a nervous tic about loaning cruise companies interest free money (and a lot of it !!) for long periods of time.

Just me

I'm taking the 25% bonus for rolling it over. In most cases, it's just the deposit. Only a couple of cruises have been paid when they got cancelled.

A few months ago, we booked a Dec '21 Galapagos trip - a good friend of mine had been booked in March '20 - we wanted to go with her but that's terrible timing for my husband to miss work, so we declined. But when her trip was cancelled, and she looked to rebook - she decided on December, which works for us. We'll see what happens - I knew I wanted to do this trip, so even if I have to cancel Dec '21, I'll get to do it hopefully in the next couple years! (Lindblad on the bigger of the 2 NatGeo boats)

We have added another voyage to our trips. NCL Prima. Transatlantic (Southampton to NYC with stops in the Shetlands and Iceland along the way). September 23, 2022. Let's see if this one holds up . . .

Celebrity shuffled our schedule, so our TATL now departs on 10 October instead of 21 October.

MSC posts cruising guidelines for passengers today. MSC looking to cruise out of Miami and Port Canaveral (Orlando ). Test cruises for July and August.
Policies basically same for vaccinated and unvaccinated passengers. Everyone to wear a mask onboard and get tested at embarkation.
unvaccinated passengers must buy Covid insurance otherwise, no masks required outdoors. Many of us are not happy as we were expecting similar policy to NCL, Celebrity and Carnival sailing out of Florida.
(fully vaccinated crews and passengers)
