I did even worse and of course had to watch a 3 minute video before Bilt would let me see my results :td:. Anyone get any actual Bilt Rewards points out of it? |

Are those Rent Free game mock/moot points? (Or as we used to say about all foreign currencies during Nimitz Med Deployment 1987, before the Euro and when it seemed like we had to deal with a different currency every 2-3 weeks, “bongo bucks”. I probably shouldn’t complain, at least we got some liberty ports.)

They're just the score in the game for the rentfree game. Not related to bilt points themselves, just the quiz score.
11 thumbs down. (Why 11? Because 10 is too few and 12 is too many ;).) (Thumbs down not to you, thank you for explaining to you, thumbs down to Bilt for the deliberately deceitful manner in which they designed and displayed this game, having us think for a moment that we’d get some actual Bilt rewards points.) |

Did I miss something or is there no rent day promo (transfer bonus etc.) this time? Last year on 4/1 was the Hyatt fast track promo that got me started with Bilt.

Relatively underwhelming, for sure. |

Technically and literally you are correct, just like Geico “could” save you 15% (but could also cost you twice as much) and Bitcoin has real value (not). But in the spirit of loyalty programs it was relatively deceptive.
Correct, just a bunch of fitness related promos; free workouts, use Bilt points for products. (Possibly more cost cutting by offering promos which probably appeal to far fewer people and probably cost Bilt much less?) |

I have met people who think that if they have 5,000 frequent flyer miles, that they can use them for a 5,000 mile flight . . . I see the rationale in hindsight, but it's just not logical. |

To me, that’s a pretty good definition of deceit and/or “bait and switch”. Bilt could just as easily have stated each person’s rank without disclosing the number of bongo points. My relative rank was significant for determining free rent or Bilt points, my number of bongo points was of less significance than the amount of lint in my navel (belly button) :D. |
Card Declined!
Made a couple of large charges today, LIttle of $6K and then about $4300. Relatively new card holder and thought it was time to take care of the 2x Rent day for non-bonused charges. First charge fine, second charge declined. Received a text about both if I recognized the charges, texted Y. Still declined on second charge again, called and talked to fraud department, still declined. Waited a few hours, tried again, declined, called again, still not happening. Never experienced such a ridiculous experience. Not uncommon on large charges to my Citi or chase cards to have some issues but for this amount to have it never be possible to charge the second amount.....insane. Was able to charge a small $75 charge and then a $2000 charge later but clearly because the large second charge in the AM was initially declined it was never going to happen again. Not happy!
$30K CL so nowhere near that. Was the first time I'd charged anywhere near $10K plus but not resolvable...? |
