Sometimes you have to be a resident of the state they operate in, while some were able to get the card without living in those states. It is very much YMMV. You will need proof of income (W2, check stubs, etc). The only states City National Bank operates in are: NY, DE (only trust office, no go), DC, GA, TN, MN, NV & CA. The bank is looking for high net worth individuals, but that's not exactly consistent either.
The card has no foreign transactions fees and is fee-free the first year, then $400 annually.

My card renewed at the end of December, and the Priority Pass for myself and additional cardholder automatically showed up a few days prior to the renewal.

My annual fee came on December 31. My priority pass, logging into PP's website, shows as active until December 26,2020. And it shows the original benefit - unlimited visits with unlimited guests.
I'm guessing until the NEXT Priority Pass plan year rolls around in December 2020 I'll still have the completely unlimited lounge visits.
Oddly, when logging into CNB's website, I see the new "Priority Pass Enrollment" link and I can complete the enrollment. Since it seems my PP is active with full benefits, I'll pass on that for now.
I'm guessing until the NEXT Priority Pass plan year rolls around in December 2020 I'll still have the completely unlimited lounge visits.

Just another complaint about the mediocre website and payment processes. The CNB website will not permit you to make a payment within 2 days of another payment. So this presents an issue if you want to set up monthly autopayment on the due date and then make an additional payment. But even worse, the CNB payment system just cancelled a scheduled payment that was scheduled 2 days before my due date, which left me scrambling to set up another payment (from an external account) in order to avoid interest charges.
The only reason I kept this card was to ensure that my Amazon GCs arrived and to get some juice from my AU's PP card. Our updated PP cards shipped in November, a few days before the AF hit. Still no AF for the AU, so I expect that is charged on renewal (as we expected) and not on January 1. Of course we will be cancelling well before the next AF hits, and CNB can expect zero spend going forward absent a bonus promo.
