Current welcome offer is 50,000 30,000 Crystal points with $5,000 $3,000 spending in the first 90 days. First annual fee not waived. (as of telephone call with bank employee 8/7/2019)

Past bonuses were:

***** #1502 - signup bonus 1/16/18 BUT ANNUAL FEE NOT WAIVED ******

100,000 points after spending $5,000 in first three months. Offer expires 30 December 2015. EXPIRED

A 70,000 points offer was offered back in March 2017 and expired March 31st, 2017. EXPIRED

The requirements for the application process varies from bank to bank based on various online data points collected from FlyerTalk, Doctor of Credit, etc.

Some banks require that you go into a branch and apply personally. Other banks want you to have another account open for 90 days before you can get this card. Some banks (if you already have a relationship with them) let you apply via mail. Sometimes you have to be a resident of the state they operate in, while some were able to get the card without living in those states. It is very much YMMV. You will need proof of income (W2, check stubs, etc). The only states City National Bank operates in are: NY, DE (only trust office, no go), DC, GA, TN, MN, NV & CA. The bank is looking for high net worth individuals, but that's not exactly consistent either.

The card has no foreign transactions fees and is fee-free the first year, then $400 annually.

Register your card for online access (cno.cnb.com). This changed on Sept 19 2019.
Register separately for the award page (www.cnbrewards.com).
Register for Visa Infinite info and access at https://myvisainfinite.com/cnb/en_us/home.html
Click "my info" to see details on points awarded.
Best* redemption found to date is $1,000 prepaid visa for 105K pts. It's now 125K pts for a $1,000 prepaid visa. Link to catalog

That's really jumping in with both feet.

Hopefully, you would have spent the cash with AA soon anyway.

Wow. If that really was still kept active as an unadvertised/quiet benefit I'd actually keep the card. VADB is my main litmus test for keep/cancel on this. It's the only thing I cannot easily replicate with other programs.

I'd go for the process to get a RC card .... but I'm not really sure it will keep the VADB over time. Everyone else has cancelled it, and my discussions with CNB suggested that it was Visa cancelling that perk, not the bank.

I agree, this won’t be around for much longer as visa is discontinuing it, but the site still worked today. For those that have trips to book, best do it now.

When did you book it? The page is now showing:
Effective 12/31/19, your CNB Crystal Visa Infinite card no longer offers the Visa Discount Air Benefit. Air itineraries booked via the Visa Discount Air Benefit prior to 12/31/19 will still be honored and valid for travel. If you need servicing on your existing Visa Discount Air itinerary, please contact the airlines directly for assistance as Concierge will no longer have access to your itinerary. Thank you.

I contacted them today, just applied for the card in September 2019. So really just met the bonus. I discussed with them that I would assume the changes (Devalue) made were not last minute and I would had like to had know the changes were going to take place during my applying for the noted benifites at that time. He offered to cancell the card and give my annual fee back losing my business. He also offered to downgrade the card to a non annual fee card but loose all benifits and some value of my points in doing so. He would not budge on refunding the already paid annual fee and allowing me to keep the card. He did not the additional user card would not add an additional cost until next September 2020. BUT lost all it benifits except priority pass. I am on the fence with this. I had no current plans to use my points nor had an opertunity to use ANY of the benifits yet. Thought????

Take your points as a statement credit and then close and get the annual fee refunded.

Is there a way to manually take it as a statement credit or do you have to call?

For those of us who still have the card, do we need to reapply for the priority pass? I do see the link when logging in to get the names for priority pass and it looks like the previous priority pass account expired 1/2/2020 when I logged online.

mine expired last year same month as my annual fee. I got them in the mail automatically. I imagine a LOT of people will cancel the card this year. Not sure if they will automatically renew PP this year and pay for a membership upfront without knowing if the customer will keep the card or not. Wouldn't cost anything to call and ask or it.

Yes go to the rewards section of the website and you can redeem. Unless it's change, 60,000 pts = $500.

But if you wait, it should go to 70,000 points = $500 soon enough.
