Is it an EX HP every time?

If you spend over $5k in a year, you get a $50 bonus, which more than offsets the $25 in annual fees ($15 card fee + $10 Marukai membership fee), per https://www.jcbusa.com/for_consumers...mium-jcb-card/ .

TU. Annoying, but I hope that it means that the quality of the customers are higher.

Are they INQ or new account sensitive?

Or is it mostly the income verification that matters?

They mostly care about income, and even then, they'll still give a low line initially. I had to send them a paystub to validate income.

It works, but only if the biller specifically supports JCB. I've yet to see someone that supports only Discover take the card and be able to actually process it.

As someone who can put thier mortgage on this card, at minimum 2k /mo probably 3k with other spending, this card is kind of a no brainer right?

I can't sign up for credit cards fast enough to fulfill the spending I am doing, so this makes sense right?

Tracking JCB Cashback Points on Awardwallet: they will do it if we ask

If you use Awardwallet, please contact them to request that they support JCB's award program. https://awardwallet.com/status/
---
I requested this and received the following:

Thank you for the suggestion. We have added this program to our backlog https://awardwallet.com/status/
It now needs to get more votes to be implemented.

Evidently, they function democratically.

Vote for us!

Why would I need to track JCB rebates? Presumably they post automatically. It is not the same as miles or points that may expire or that can be transferred to other programs.

How did they contact you for this info and how many days after you applied?

How long did you wait before requesting CLI?

Decided not to get this card and stick with Arrival for 2x spend in non-categories. Don't want to bother with carrying another card in my wallet if it's not absolutely going to work everywhere.

You don't. They all apply as a statement credit in full. You do have to call their automated number to get them to apply and they expire after a year of not redeeming them.

They will send something in the mail. It'll take a while. You'll have to be patient as their processes are very human-oriented.

Per their website, they'll consider a request once every six months. They do a hard pull each time though, so you'd obviously want to be judicious about making a request. Took me three iterations to get to a reasonable limit because they're super conservative.
