And a disclaimer stating, "Premium Seats are reserved for OnePass Elite customers or customers who have purchased fares in qualifying classes of service."

Under "Onboard amenities" co.com admits that the BF screens on the 752 are smaller than economy's!

I like it! The like the ability to see all the pda.continental.com features in an online version. I too wont be seeing a need to change a ticket so that functionality not going to be seen anytime soon.

Way to go CO!

One thing that would be cool would be an ability to click on the ship number and get the age N number and how long the plane has been flying and used by CO. Of course the general public wouldnt find this cool but they might.

There are no nonstop flights available for AVL - EWR ?

Rather than start a new thread, I'll stick this problem in here
in the remote possibility it's related to recent changes.

I'm trying to book reward travel AVL-EWR on 4/5/09.
I get the message
! There are no nonstop flights available for this destination. The flight search results for this destination with stops are shown below

I checked the seat map for purchasing a ticket on the non-stop
AVL-EWR flight that does exist for 4/5/09 and it shows no seats sold.

I get the same result (i. e., no nonstop flights available)
whether the AVL-EWR leg is the first or last
of a R/T pair, and have found no trouble on any other dates.

Any idea what's happening?
(I know I can call co.com if I really want to book a ticket right now,
but I'm more interested in the problem than in a solution.)
(And given the current passenger load I'm inclined to wait to see
if SaverPass opens up)

Unless you are booking in the preview site posting it here isn't going to be helpful.

I just took a look and have an interesting little bug in viewing a reservation:

Suffice it to say that's a single r/t itinerary that is a bit messed up. It is normal on the normal site.

I'm having no trouble finding seats for that right now.

The rebooking engine is still broken. When selecting "Full Fare" for an alternate flight, it still gives you a 'H' fare and not a 'Y'. Time to report it.

The month-long calendar is really useful. No need to go to itasoftware.com to search for CO flights anymore. But the "my dates are flexible" button is only on the advanced search page and not on the front page or the bottom on the results page.

The new seatmap on the status section that corresponds to the pda site has a totally different graphics and orientation than the seatmaps for booking and itinerary checking. Front of plane is on top, not to the left. Odd to have a completely different map style.

For the seatmap of the 777, there's a gap between the D and E seats in BF. :)

With reward travel?

I can book the flight on a paid basis.

I just re-tried AVL-EWR on 4/5/09 and got the 'no direct flights' message
with a Reward Travel request (logged in as Gold).

My bad...I saw the blue box on the screen and didn't look more closely to see that it was partner travel.

It looks like the Web Product Team is actually returning e-mails this time around. I reported a bug a few hours ago and a Mr. Wolfe left a message on my phone to return his call a little while ago. Great CS^

I love what they've done with the updates to the flight status page, how it's heavy on information available previously only on the pda website. Bravo!

rt1flea Nov 10, 2008 6:12 pm

Did anyone else have the wrong OP # listed at the bottom of the email? Mine was totally wrong.

Agreed!

I am slightly annoyed that each tab requires reloading the page instead of using DIVs to hide the data and just make it visible quickly. Much like the old calendar that depended on server-side updates to switch months, this is slower for the end user.

I'm also intrigued by the results from the upgrade list for flight 62 to MAD tonight (10 Nov 2008):
Capacity: 35 | Booked: 25 | Checked In: 28

The PDA site shows it 35/28/28.

Not a fan of the tabs that reload the whole page either.

Personally I'd love for the first tab to be the EUA standby list, but I realize that's not practical or good business sense for them at all.
