Me neither. If they're not sending out invitations, I would assume you needed to be previously invited to access it.

As CO Insider indicated, you can send a quick email asking to be added to the list.

If you’re not a member of the Preview Program but want to be, just send your FlyerTalk handle and OnePass number to me at [email protected].

Not sure how I missed that; I promise I can read. Most days, anyway;).

Just look for the “Upgrade Reservation” option when viewing your reservation online.

When selecting the buy-up option, the info on the meal is for the economy section and not the buy-up to F.

Doh, yes.

Now, the option has appeared. However it seems broken. I've already reported to co.com preview support... but to summarize:
  • Can't select individual flights:
If I choose "select individual flights" I get an error telling me I must select which flights. There is no way to do that.
  • Pricing summary makes no sense
Selecting upgrade entire flight (only 2 segments left to upgrade) I'm given $751 as a "buy up" (which may or may not be correct). However then the travel bank amount I used for the original ticket is "subtracted" as is 360 miles. No idea how much would be charged and to what should I click, "purchase."
  • Unable to display seat maps
I get an error when clicking, "view seats"
  • Target fare classes are not displayed prior to purchase
As a gold, I'd care that this were an actual front cabin class vs Y/B up. If I were a plat, I'd really want to know if this was M or not.

Looks good to me. An upcoming EWR-LAS flight is offering both a mileage upgrade (3 seats left!) and a Buy up to First (7 seats left), for the fare difference between my fare and the "M" fare. Cool, I just hope nobody else takes up the offer...

Worth noting that the 7 seats left is the number of total F/Z seats left, there are actually only 4 M seats left, after M disappears I assume I'd have to buy up to B which is much more expensive. And if the Z bucket disappears, I assume I'd have to buy up to Y/F/C/D, whichever is cheapest (and available).

As someone new to the preview program, I don't know if this is normal or not. When I type the address of the preview site, it is automatically redirecting me to the regular site. Are they doing updates to the preview site?

Same here this morning. It was working late yesterday afternoon, but this morning it is being redirected.

I am being redirected to the regular site as well.

Last night I played with some future booked flights to see what would happen if I looked for an upgrade.

On two flights I was offered an upgrade for 15,000 miles (2 days after Christmas, EWR-TPA). But in very tiny print, it said "Waitlist Only" (There were 3 FC seats left).

The "waitlist only" needs to be in much bigger point size and bolded.

Looks like you're being redirected, since the changes to the preview site are being moved into www.continental.com. You now get the 'upgrade reservation' link on the 'view current reservation' page for each reservation. Not linked from the little summary boxes on the rest of the site yet tho.

I don't think it just "looks like you're being redirected" since the preview site had the word "PREVIEW" in the banner on the page and this morning the link does not show that.

Preview changes seem to have been made, as I can now go into my trip in a few days, and buy up to first for next to nothing, as well as use miles if I chose... really nice look of it all as well!

I'm holding off though, as so many seats are still open, and I'm exit row even if the upgrade doesn't clear as Plat, LOL

Ditto -- my upgrade is only $175 for a 4.5 hr flight (buy up to M), but I think I have a good chance at EUA, and if not, the exit row aisle seat is pretty good.

Mine is only to DEN, so very short flight. If it was to SEA from IAH, I would be more apt to consider it, as that can be a long flight in the back...

Instead of being 15k miles flat out, would be nice if it was distance based, so the longest flights would be 15k miles to upgrade, the shorter flights would be on a floating scale downwards... such as IAH to DEN being only 10k...

I'm surprised these changes have already been moved to production when CO Insider admitted that there are still bugs. I don't understand CO's IT group sometimes...
