Miele are excellent, but very pricey in this country.
When we lived in NYC and had to clean apartments and not houses we had a series of Sharp canister vacuums. The Miele is much better than those and not that much more expensive.

Any ideas on what to do about my return (I booked two one-ways)? Also, I posted a question for you over on teh other place. If you know of a way to get it to price that way, please let me know. |

Wow, I was totally oblivious of the fact that we were nearing a milestone. I need to pay better attention.

After more than a year of peddling a paper around, I finally got an "Accept with minor revisions", and I am ecstatic about this!
I know is a  thing to be happy about, but it means that I might actually graduate some time!!! Anyway, just wanted to share with the B:rolleyes:x... |

These dates work for me as well - when the weather waiver comes, let's try and move DCA-SFO to these dates.

Do you think bars will be open?
I just change my DL flight to depart DCA tomorrow, overnight in MSP, and take my original flight to HNL on Friday. Any hotel recommendations for MSP? |

Becareful. The State Department has a lot of warnings about teaching in Korea. Many end with Americans being deported w/o ever getting paid a penny and a nasty stamp in their passport.

Those are the stupid Americans that go freelance and try to make money under the table and then cross the wrong client and get deported. Not a real risk for someone actually working with a real organization.

The Brickskeller and the Hotel Palomar bar remained open during the last blizzard, but many of the other restaurants/bars on P Street closed by late afternoon.
