I have no complaints about my Dyson.

Other than the price tag I likely wouldn't either. ;)

get a refurb dirt devil, then you haven't wasted much money with the $39 blows up in a year :D

now seriously, I have a Hoover windtunnel T and my parents liked mine so bought one of their own. They use theirs a LOT more than I use mine, and they like it. They had a very high end vacuum for about 15 years and it broke, they didn't want to spend so much again, and they think this one does a lot better anyway.

Well, in a way. You have no idea how mortifying it is for a teenage girl to consider wearing an "orthopedic" shoe! Nordstrom are fantastic. They let me buy two different sized shoes and only charge me for one pair. It's the only store that I have found that will accomdate differing feet size. It is really very hard to find shoes that fit her, and it's very distressing for her. We have an orthotic for her to wear in sneakers, etc. (ridiculously uncomfortable things, they are designed for people who have had toe amputations, etc. and even though it is custom made, it is still very uncomfortable for her to wear).

Buying cute sandals, etc. is a nightmare. My heart breaks when I take her shoe shopping and she comes home empty handed, despondent and miserable because we simply couldn't find shoes that would fit her small foot.

Is there any brand out of vacuum out there that is worth buying? I need a new one.

Miele are excellent, but very pricey in this country. I had a Miele at home in the UK for donkey's years, and it was a trooper. When I came here, I bought a Sears vacuum. Not happy. It sucks - and not in the way it is intended to suck :D:D:D

I think I am going to try to leave tomorrow. Looking at the current weather forecast, I highly doubt you guys will make it to DC on Friday.

I know in the canister style department Sears usually comes out on top.

After more than a year of peddling a paper around, I finally got an "Accept with minor revisions", and I am ecstatic about this!

I know is a  thing to be happy about, but it means that I might actually graduate some time!!!

Anyway, just wanted to share with the B:rolleyes:x...

Yawn. I did some exploring at work on the lecture hall computer set up. I know why the PowerPoint remote doesn't work. The computer has no receiver for it. I know why the SmartBoard has never worked. No one over ran the cable to connect it to the computer :rolleyes: and no one ever installed the software to turn it on and run it.:rolleyes::rolleyes:

Detail, details... it's all in the details.

"You said to setup the Smartboard, so I went and set it just up over there"
