I was just talking to the GF on the phone. I was expecting her to be mad about the idea of me going on a MR. She's only jealous as she wants to do crazy trips like JFK-MEX.

Yes I spent many days there thanks to an old boyfriend. Not a bad place to live. Kinda rural. 2 hours away from SFO but they have airport buses. Nice Jr College. Semi close to Napa. Charles Schutz, of Peanuts fame, lived there and the town Ice Skating Rink is totally Peanuts Decorated plus I think his museum is there. Disney also used a MacDonald Ave Home to film the exterior of Pollyanna Movie.

What else would you like to know?

The cost of a new passport is probably close to the cost to fly to OK and retrieve the one stored there. It's certainly more than the cost of express shipping of the stored one...

Hampton Inns are now generally 35K per night. If you have an HH balance that you want to pad, go for it. Paying for four nights to get one free isn't a bad deal, but I'm becoming less and less a Hilton person if I can help it.
