I can think of a great way to make $1000 if you can buy them for $2,300 each and sell for $5,600 total. :p

And I agree that $2,300 is WAY too much for tickets.

oh dear. Chicken stir-fry suonds good too.

Now have a dilemma - potatoes au gratin/chicken in wine sauce or chicken stir-fry. Hmmm.

you could do 'Italian stir fry' with chicken, rosemary, broccoli, carrots, lemon juice, cream or win if you want noodles to add filler ;)

So much you can do!

Donna from the West Wing, among other Aaron Sorkin productions.

I suppose I'd better go start dinner. Be back in a jiffy.

- Turn oven to 375
- Open tilapia packages
- Put a sprinkle of olive oil into a pyrex baking dish
- Coat the tilapia with some dill and lemon pepper
- Place it in the baking dish
- Bake for 30 minutes

This works well with other frozen fish, too!

BTW I stopped by a local winery today, they have a fabulous setup with their winery, community center event room, and a dining and tasting room that is the best 114 year old house I have ever seen!

Yeah, but it is wine from Texas. I'm not betting on quality. :p

Hello, Box.

I'm sure it's on snopes.com, but when I was in high school, there was a story that went around that a worker used his "hairy palm" to eject his "man juice" into the mayo. I'm sure it isn't true, but every time I see/hear/read something about BK, this always comes up in the back of my mind.

You'd have to pay me to get me to attend that event.

Yum yum, got a gallon of raw milk too!

That's what I miss about living in Philly. The Amish sold raw milk. Yum!

My wife just emailed me that supermarkets are nuts already. Yeesh. We're actually pretty low on some stores and I asked her to go today to beat the rush tomorrow, but looks like the  was hung out there.

There are a few Texas wines of exceptional quality. Nearly all, IME, have come from Becker Vineyards.

ETA - There are parts of the Texas Hill Country that look virtually indistinguishable from Provence (architecture aside). The climate is a bit more like Sicily, though, in terms of what grapes will do best.
