Off to do recycling, then stop at market, then drive to the NHL game. Check in later.

We had 4 days without rain....the sun even made an appearance but today that all changed. Rain tonight, heavy at times with 35-40 mph gusts.

GF said grocery stores around her in MD were a madhouse. She was getting some essentials (yes, TP included ^ ) and some comfort foods.

I wonder what happened to all the other photos taken that night. I must have been in about 5 of them.

ETA - I hate it when early May rolls around, and I start wondering... "will this be the last cool, non-humid morning?"

If settled in means 100+ degrees for half the month, count me out. Remember last June? I spent the majority of my time indoors. In a way, I was happy to be unemployed. That was a BAD month. I'll continue to take this cool weather... I just want to see the sun.

I always made sure that my panty had enough stuff so that I didn't have to shop before a snow storm. If we ran out of milk, oh well.

MUST ... FIGHT .... URGE .... TO BUY .... BREAD.... MILK......
Can I use the snow storm as an excuse to bring them in my carry on?

Assuming my DCA fight is canceled, we are preparing for the snow by making a reservation at an SPG property north of here (much less snow). No need to run to the grocery store when a hotel can cook for you. :D

I think that in about 20 years time, as some of the vines at the more established Texas vineyards mature, there will be some truly world-class wines coming out of the Hill Country. I am already very impressed with what Becker manages to produce, considering that their vine-stock is still fairly young (fairly close to 20 years, IIRC).

No the Box is always hard to catch up on. I love it when I'm not too tired to read it when I get home from work at around 1am. By the time I wake up in the morning I've missed alot of postings due to the time zones.
