Cars at PTY are very inexpensive. Getting around via car is difficult, though, as most roads are not marked. For my last trip, I bought the GPS maps. They were quite ^.

I'm officially fat and happy on the couch.

Canuck is braising some short-ribs and I've had an unconfirmed sighting of Mac 'n cheese with a panko crust. The good kinda awesome.

Ain't no way in hell I'm every going to try to walk to the Casco Viejo from the Multicentro again. Two nice ladies stopped their car and forcefully dissuaded me from doing so last time. I learned why when I drove there along the coastal (OMG, why are those people huffing glue out of bags next to that crumbling whorehouse) route. :-:

I had considered renting a vehicle, but then thought that would likely result in becoming designated driver. :-::-::-:

fozz and I rented a car last year and got lost plenty of times but never too badly. We just had the maps Hertz gave us but it was fine.

And I'm not too worried about being a designated driver, I don't think.

Is it you, me, FT Lurker and windwalker that weekend??
