Looking at positioning flights for LAX-PTY-MEX
booked for 3/5 on the outbound departs 1:30am
Have a Sales Meeting in IAH 2/28-3/4, so taking the 5:55pm to LAX on the 4th
Due in at 7:30pm, gives me 6 hours to kill in\around LAX.
Feel good about all that.

The return has me a bit concerned
Scheduled out of PTY at 10:04 pm on the 6th, due back to LAX at 10:59pm
currently holding the red-eye out of LAX on 3/7, departs 12:30am
Gives me an hour and a half to clear and get from TBIT over to T6

Think that's enough time?

Yeah, I just saw that. I got all excited before I noted that the last forecast run put us at mostly rain instead of snow up here. Oh well.

So WWTBD?? I have to work near Syracuse, NY on Wednesday starting around noon. The original plan (2 weeks ago) was to drive up there Wednesday morning but I think the weather might mess that plan up. I was planning on just leaving Tuesday but I'm afraid the drive back home on Thursday could be so  that I might not make it since this storm is headed north after it hits us.

So would you chance it and drive up Tuesday and back Thursday or would you take Amtrak up & back and avoid the drive completely but have to leave much earlier on Tuesay and get home later on Thursday??

Flying from EWR is out of the question since the ticket prices are :rolleyes::rolleyes:

And CO is canceling flights left, right and center already.

Personally, I'd drive up today. Then I'd just take a very careful drive back home on Thursday or Friday. The weather is supposed to be sunny and clear on Thursday.

Morning, Box. Always nice to start the day with Lewis, Cholula, and coffee. Breakfast tacos with LON Broil covered in YUL rub and doused with Cholula and ketchup - breakfast win.

There's a story in the WSJ online now about a Japanese airline seat manufacturer who falisfied safety data on airline seats - and CO is named as a customer. They say there is no risk to anyone, but it does amaze me that companies do this kind of thing. Uggh...
