Greetings from The Equinox in Vermont! The hotel is nice but it has lived up to its reputation of being a bit stingy with upgrades. When I inquired about suite upgrade availability, they offered me a buy-up for over $500 to a room that is classified as their standard suite (qualifies for complimentary Plat upgrade). :rolleyes: I didn't push it because we're only here for one night and there is more to life than suite upgrades. :)
Manchester, VT is a pretty quiet town, but there are plenty of small restaurants, cafes and shopping that kept us busy this afternoon. Sadly, there is more grass than snow here, so snowshoeing will be replaced with some hiking tomorrow. |
