Hahah. Funny.

All is right with the world. After 26 minutes (surprisingly no hold time) and a conference call with a Supervisor they relented and agreed to move The Canuck's and my seats.

I guess I got lucky. When I asked for exit rows on US, they asked me for an FFP number to justify making the request. I provided my CO number and was on hold for maybe a minute.

Indeed; as do I. :-:

From my new favorite web site.

And this one, from the same site, for CMike. Good luck!

Good Afternoon Box, from what may be the most hideous client conference room I've ever seen.

Thank you, sir. Very funny site.

I feel I can not do that; the semicolon is unworthy of support.

Mackieman Feb 11, 2010 1:28 pm

Holy crap. I created a Facebook ad for Support the Semicolon simply to see how their interface and metric capturing worked (it's somewhat the business that I'm in). I set it up for impression tracking at $2 per day, running $0.26 per 1,000 impressions for a total of about 7,700 impressions a day.

I wound up with over 10,000 impressions and 11 clicks. In ten minutes. I think I may need to switch over to click tracking.

So you inadvertently made Facebook even richer?

Well, not so much inadvertently, as I knew I would be paying for the ad, but I did not expect it to go so quickly.

They had it in the reservation already. And I never did give it to the woman (because she was looking at it).

I assume they hassled me simply because it was me. It's the same reason that when I went to board my US Shuttle flight back in DEC. I got the two beep of death when they scanned my BP and they refused to let me board. It wasn't until I threatened IDB that they let me on.:rolleyes:

Oddly enough, I got the two beep'er in DEN last week on UAL. They just did a quick manual type and let me on my merry way however.

snark detector a little off today? :p@:-)

The idiocracy is closing in on me. I read the Devils reporter blog updates for this afternoon, and fans are whining that Zach Parise came out on the ice for warmups but was scratched from the lineup at the last minute before the game last night.

If I stop giving information right there, and you all know that this is in the context of professional hockey, what is the first medical problem that comes to mind?

The players do wear gloves, so it would be impossible to take note of hairy palms.

Yea I made it and go the pointy end at the last second. 4 of us in one shot and the kettles around us thought we were being ejected or something. Chelsea at EWR has some truly wonderful grapes right now. Rest of the friut was meh. CO really did not like that flight with the computer system which I see are still happening. (do a EWR-ATL status, the 6:45 flight 83 isn't there) Just image my surprise after batteling crappy roads for nearly 1.5 hours to see the words Cancelled in the P4 airtrain stop yet when I got to C it was on time. Some could not check in with an agent but could at a kiosk. Go figure. Plenty of other weird computer things about that trip to bore everyone with.

Naps are a wonderful thing.

Thankfully I was able to check into the Westin and take a nap.
