There is an inherent contradiction here. Just being a pal (aka feigning interest :p ) and mentioning it.

I know, it is quite the unusual destination for someone who hates snow. But, my wife has wanted to see Vermont and I thought her birthday would be a perfect time to go.

I think there are two contradictions. 1) Vermont and the snow and 2) Not being a happy "camper" about "travel" ;)

Mmm, palindrome page.

Oh, did I forget to mention that we canceled our reservation at The Equinox and bought a tent? :p

This year's El Niņo, often deeply negative NAO/AO, and a blocking High over Canadia have resulted in storm tracks getting pushed South (with the Mid Atlantic and Jersey getting the brunt of :-:). Large swaths of upstate New York, Vermont, and Ontario are way under their usual snow totals.

Do tell; I missed the memo on this. Maybe it's because when I look out the window I go f-ing blind from snow glare.

UA VDB success. The agent relented and gave me $200 in TCVs for a 2 hour delay. Considering today was a wash anyways I don't mind. In the "high b" RCC now for another hour or so.

Southern Vermont has actually been warmer than NJ for the past few days. Burlington, on the other hand, looks to be pretty cold with some snow. But, you're right, they are way under their usual snow totals and Wednesday's storm isn't supposed to head that far north either.
