This year's El Niņo, often deeply negative NAO/AO, and a blocking High over Canadia have resulted in storm tracks getting pushed South (with the Mid Atlantic and Jersey getting the brunt of :rolleyes::-:). Large swaths of upstate New York, Vermont, and Ontario are way under their usual snow totals.
