You would be correct. Some people bailed early in the day, after they heard what kind of restaurant it was.

We'll he happy to go with you and a smaller group sometime, though.

I meant to ask and forgot re: the CNT Do...I know I had mentioned doing the same-train thing, but I'm tempted to take the ferry and use the NY Waterway bus. I can fit one other person and potentially another two if the backseat of a Skivic is doable. Anyone rather I come pick them up along the way since I'm likely the southernmost FTer that would be driving?

The fabulous Mrs. Xyzzy and I will be driving in. We've got room in the car if you can get to our place and want a ride.

Stupid me, yes I did.

Copa, is your mom a TA? I think you mentioned it, but I am not sure. Can she ticket these crazy fares?

She surely could, provided she had the booking details page from ITA so she can plug in the exact segments that you want. She charges a booking fee, but IMHO her fee is well worth the avoidance of .bomb. Booking MRs with my mother would be very much appreciated, especially if they involve any segments on CO.

Morning, Box.

Just curious, what is the back end comp from CO? Is it better than others?

No (domestic) airline gives a back end any more. :(

Some carriers have brought back very limited commissions on front cabin fares, but it has been slow to come back.

She just has a longstanding relationship with CO and prefers to steer people that way.

I think it's already gone. DL and NW consolidated their gates and moved to D, and WN is soon going to give up their D gates and move to E. FL has already moved to E (DL is using their old gates).

They are supposedly building a new SkyClub somewhere in D.

Interesting, I haven't been to PHL in a while and I tend to avoid it.

Gym: check. Hopefully someday I will notice all of this making a difference.

I did manage to drop a 16 pound bar on my foot as I was putting it away.

On a related note, I read some sort of motivational tip a while ago that said "don't just resolve to get in shape...sign up for a specific date to do something." I know lots of you are marathon types and this is not even close to your league, but...any boxers between NYC and Philly interested in finding a 5K somewhere in our neck of the woods? Maybe in April or May?

(My other general, non-New-Year's, resolution was to try to incorporate more socializing into my life that wasn't primarily based around either eating or a sitting-still activity. Here's hoping.)

There were still NW jets parking in E when I did my PHX run in November. The DC-9 that operates the early morning PHL-MSP was already buttoned up for the night when I came in on the late flight from IAH. If that move is all finished, it's very recent.
