Ouch!

Speaking of which, the two nearest Dunkins to me, closed. The nearest one, almost 10 miles away. I'm thankful I had a Boston Creme at BOS back on New Year's Eve.

Learning a lot about you lately! I thought I had the inside scoop after sitting behind you and opsprof on the bus to downtown at CO Do IV (I was the successor to a mutual friend). And I was once a rock DJ!

we are ALL such creatives! opsprof used to be in a rock band: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EriLEqLzA-A

There's no way to push back the start date two days? It is pre-arranged travel.

My hunch is no, for two reasons. A) In my experience, a Monday start date usually means a multi-day strucutured orientation. B) I did not have these booked at the time of the interview. They do know about SFO this weekend.

icurhere2, is Northouse's Introduction to Leadership a solid pick for re-teaching myself how to have people under me again?

I don't have that one handy - can you see what the library has at your school? I have a copy of Leadership: Theory and Practice, 4 Ed. but I'm using it as a supplement with one of my full-semester courses.

CM, I see you took my suggestion on being a fan of a certain group.^ As for the other group, if I'm tailgating you... you're driving too slowly in the left lane.

So far, so good. Connected to my desktop upstairs, importing photos into Lightroom. ^ to Adobe for making their license cross-platform for Lightroom. :td: to Adobe for not doing the same for Photoshop.

He was sonte-cold sober. I felt badly for him. I actually was the one coherent enough - despite being outrageously drunk to the point that I thought I could taste the difference in the various flavors of Mad Dog 20/20 we were sampling - to run and call the ambulance for him.
