I'm trying to figure out why NBC is willing to dedicate one channel to showing basically all the curling for the entire Olympics. There are plenty of other events out there. Is it simply because the camera and commentator costs are low? Is there someone out there somewhere who has paid NBC to try to increase the popularity of curling in the USA?
