When I put in EWR-PRG and select "search nearby airports", PHL comes up with "fares from $392" but when I select it, the lowest price is $635. Any chance this is a hint of an upcoming fare cut?

Aren't you sitting on over a million CO miles?

Yup.....sitting on 1.4M+ CO and about 130K US. I was planning on buying my ticket and using miles for Ms. GadFly's. I'm hoping for a bump on a December EWR-TPA trip but who knows. I want that 100K set of SWU's next year and if my work travel dries up like it did this year, a paid Europe trip will sure help.

Digital Camera & return from Chicago

By the way....thanks very much to the photo-savy Boxers. I wound up going with the Panasonic ZR1 and am thrilled with it. Got some great shots with Ms. GadFly's family, etc.

We were booked on 1162 ORD-EWR Wednesday night with a snowstorm in Chicago and gusty winds in Newark. So many people switched off our flight to catch earlier ones, our plane had 23 people on it and Ms. GadFly got her companion upgrade. We left ORD almost 30 minutes late and landed at EWR early. So much for things being predictable.

Good to be home.....time for bed.

Cops just left again - criminal trespass after some idiots decided they wanted to sit on my front porch. Got some great photos of the perps with my new Samsung.

Definitely an odd story. They are free to do whatever they wish in their personal lives but why conduct the alleged action in the classroom?

I have three major complaints about DEN.

1) Location. It's just too far from anything useful and it sucks if you O/D there.

2) Lack of underground walkway. This escapes me. They dug the tunnels for the train, why not put a walkway in. I got stuck on numberous occasions and wish they'd just have a walkway.

3) The stupid bus system. Again, i'm dumbfounded that they built a new airport with all these nice facilities, but rather than putting in an automatic people mover, they have buses which are highly unreliable and just suck.

Yeah -- I know that it's far from the actual city -- I've done the drive many times.

I agree -- w/the need for an underground walkway. I'm not familiar w/the bus system!

DEN is where I realized that 'elite access' for TSA purposes -- really comes in handy!:-:

DEN has only been my origination airport twice - once when I taught a week in Englewood and once when I was on loan to USDA-APHIS at Fort Collins.
